After months of speculation Francesco Totti has signed a new one-year-deal with Roma and in doing so has confirmed that he will end his career with the club.
The 39-year-old has been with Roma for his entire career, scoring 304 goals in 758 appearances, which both represent club records.
Totti has been on the books at Roma since the age of 12 and became the youngest ever Serie A captain when he was handed the armband at the tender age of 21.
As a Roma player Totti has won five trophies: one Serie A title, two Coppa Italias and two Supercoppa Italianas. Totti has also helped Roma to eight second place league finishes.
