West Ham are a bit of a weird club these days and increasingly give off the impression they’re run by people who don’t know what the hell is going on anymore.
Well, they’ve confused and annoyed their supporters yet again today by republishing a story on their official website that digs into both club and fans.
The Daily Mail article by Martin Samuel attempts to put to bed the myth that the Olympic Stadium – WHICH WE’RE PAYING FOR WITH OUR HARD-EARNED MONEY, GRRR, ANGER, ANGST AND MORE ANGER – is at fault for all of the Hammers’ woes so far this season.

Notice that West Ham have also added a nice little footnote bragging about the Mail‘s readership, which is nice of them and probably not fishy at all.
This terrible decision-making all makes more sense when you remember this is the football club that thought a kit launch needed some good old-fashioned, absolutely terrible rapping:
