FOOTBALLERS are well known as dedicated followers of fashion with examples across the decades stretching from Mike Summerbee and George Best with their boutique, to Frank Worthington’s cowboy boots and silk shirts, and on to Hector Bellerin promoting sustainable fashion with H&M.
In terms of football kit, the changes over the years are obvious and we’ve almost reached the point where fans may wonder if their club has a dressing-up box rather than a kit hamper.
