Colin Allan recalls when the Wales goalkeeper shone in the 1958 World Cup Finals

When Wales went to their last World Cup in Sweden in 1958, they - as well as Northern Ireland - outperformed both England and Scotland by reaching the quarter-finals.
It was a great performance by both teams and was due - in no small part - to superb goalkeeping. Jack Kelsey, of Wales, and Harry Gregg, of Northern Ireland, both produced heroics in goal for their countries. Gregg was voted the tournament’s best keeper and Kelsey was not far behind.
