THE ever-growing movement against modern football is a commendable one. Supporters are being priced out of English football, increasingly being treated like second-rate citizens.
But there is something else just as pressing. Perhaps it is a by-product of the sparkling, allsinging and all-whistling brand of the Premier League, football’s equivalent to Calgon.
